Richards Park | Brady TX

We drove from Randolph Rampy RV Park in Tatum NM to the heart of Texas, Brady TX.  The city has a great park (Richards Park) that offers RV hookups for only $10 a night.  About 5 spots with full hookups and many others with power. Power boxes attached to trees in some areas, picnic tables, pavilion, shade trees.

City park has restrooms with hot showers. Not the cleanest facilities we’ve seen, but a sight for sore eyes when you need a hot shower. Bring your shower shoes and enjoy the hot water.

We walked over the bridge and along the river, where there are several more RV camp sites.

The park was very quiet and peaceful during our brief stay.

If we had the time, we’d have stayed here longer. We really enjoyed Richards Park in Brady Texas.

  1. The information posted on this site is outdated. Please refer to the City of Brady website at for current information.

    • or you could have just posted the updated info instead of making people search (or even a direct link to the page with the updated prices). Thanks for the notification that the price has changed. Doubling the price was quite an increase but it was a nice park and probably still worth it IMHO (although I hope the bathrooms are better maintained with some of that money).
