Our camping spot was very private, had a nice stream next to it, as well as a fire pit, picnic table and a BBQ grill. The showers were right next to us, fairly clean and coin operated. $1 for 6 minutes. Great water pressure.
Bright green trees on a backdrop of brilliant red rock canyon walls highlight the beautiful scenery in this park. Surprisingly found amidst the flat land in western Oklahoma along I-40.
The entrance into the canyon is a VERY steep hill. Nowhere near as long as the drop into Palo Duro Canyon but felt steeper.
On the way down into Red Rock Canyon State Park, we heard a sound from the front underneath of the RV. Thinking we had run over a branch or something we continued on to find a spot we wanted to call home while we waited out the spring storms passing through the area.
