Boondocking at Camp Walmart on Rt 19 in Perry Florida tonight as we make our way to Fort Desoto RV Park . We got off Interstate (I-10) and have returned to the back roads (FL19). We drove 450 miles today in about 8 hours and have about 200 to drive tomorrow to reach Fort Desoto RV Park and Campground in Tierra Verde Florida, where we will spend a couple weeks in paradise.
We pulled into Walmart’s parking lot at 7:58 to a sign that said Sonic (in same lot) was featuring half price milkshakes after 8pm, perfect! Large chocolate malt with whipped cream and cherry was a great finish the long day driving from Jude Travel Park in New Orleans.
Next stop Fort Desoto RV Park – Tierra Verde Florida
The Connections conference starts in a couple days at the Hilton in Clearwater Beach. Immediately after that is SummerFest in St Pete. We look forward to seeing some old friends and making new friends.
